This terrarium halogen lamp produces pleasant heat radiation while providing optimal light that makes your reptiles feel like they are in the wild. So this UV Halogen Spot brings a health and well-being into reptile terrariums.

A very good color rendering index (CRI) of> Ra 99 ensures true-to-life reproduction of colors of your favorite terrarium reptiles and they are optimally supported with essential UV-A. With this sensationally high color rendering index, the reptiles literally “blossom” to their full color splendor with this light. Additially the UV halogen spot creates bright as well as warm places for sunbathing.

The natural perception as well as the appetite and the readiness to mate are increased significantly by a sufficient UV supply.
You do not need a ballast – but this terrarium halogen lamp belongs in an E27 porcelain/ceramic socket. The SOLAR RAPTOR® Reptile ClampLamp is ideal for this – it can be connected quickly and easily without tools and has an additional protective grid.

Important:
For reptiles that require “pure” sunlight (i.e. the vital UV-A and UV-B rays), you must use another light source, e.g. our SOLAR RAPTOR® HID or our SOLAR RAPTOR® MVL mixed light emitters.

The SOLAR RAPTOR® UV halogen heat spot, also known as a radiant heater, is available in various output levels.
