The SOLAR RAPTOR® ClampLamp is an operating unit for terrarium lamps with E27 base.

The lampshade hides unsightly spotlights and the terrarium is optically enhanced by the black, slim design of the ClampLamp. The light is bundled and can be directed to where it is needed. The view into the terrarium is also much more pleasant, as the viewer is much less dazzled by the glaring spotlights.

The heat-resistant ceramic socket can cope with any radiator, no matter how hot it is, and ensures sufficient safety, while a defect of the radiator due to heat accumulation is avoided by means of the ventilation slots in the shade. 

The safety of the animals has also been taken into consideration - a clip-on protective grille prevents direct contact with the radiator. Of course, terrarium emitters should always be installed out of reach of animals.

The ClampLamp can be installed in all standard terrariums. Installation is also possible in Zoo Med, Exo Terra® and Lucky Reptile Terrariums. For these terrariums a special angle adapter is included with the ClampLamp which allows the lamp to be easily attached to the terrarium frame.

In all-glass or wooden terrariums the lamp can be screwed to the ventilation grill or directly to the wood. The easiest way to mount the lamp is to clamp it with the wide metal clamp. It can be clamped on the short or long side of any tangible material. The rubber-coated inner side of the clamp ensures a firm hold. 

The lamp can be moved and rotated in all directions (360°) by means of the extendable double joint, it holds in any desired position.

All SOLAR RAPTOR® ECGs (ballasts) can be easily combined with the ClampLamp via the connecting plugs if required.
