SOLAR RAPTOR® Multi-Watt EVG

The SOLAR RAPTOR® Multi-Watt ECG is an electronic ballast for terrarium spotlights that offers three different wattages in just one unit. It can be set to a lamp wattage of 35W, 50W or 70W for maximum flexibility.

Many terrarium lamps, such as the popular HID lamps, require an electronic ballast for operation. The required power of the electronic ballast depends on the requirements of the connected HID spotlight.

Thanks to the new SOLAR RAPTOR® Multi-Watt electronic ballast, you are equipped with a single ballast for spotlights of different power: Simply and safely select the required power via the three-stage switch on the Multi-Watt ECG.

Like the SOLAR RAPTOR® ECGs with fixed wattage, the Multi-Watt ECG comes completely ready for connection and is equipped with the practical SOLAR RAPTOR® connectors. With these plugs it can be quickly and easily combined with the Reptile ClampLamps. Of course, you can also connect it to any other standard terrarium socket! 

As with all SOLAR RAPTOR® products, safety comes first with the Multi-Watt ECG: the ignition cable is made of heat-resistant silicone and the aluminium housing means that only a small amount of heat is generated.
